Are you qualified. How long in practice. Do you visit?

ITEC qualified 1989. In practice for over 17 years. I do not provide a visiting service.

When are you available? Do I need to book in advance? How long does it last?

am, pm or eve Mon. to Fr. Please book well in advance. Minimum 5 hours notice. For the first session allow up 1hr 45m.

I have never received a massage before. What can I expect?

A short consultation. Undress. Relax face down on the couch. Listen to the music and enjoy the most relaxing massage experience ever.

Do I need to bring anything with me?

You do not need to bring any towels or anything else with you. 

Do I need to undress completely and remove my underwear?

Californian Massage utilises long flowing strokes over the whole body so you will need to undress completely.

When I am not covered will I be warm enough?

Any form of covering interferes with the flowing nature of Californian Massage.

The therapy room is exceptionally warm and you will be very comfortable throughout.

What areas of the body do you massage?

Back. Hips. Buttocks. Legs. Arms. Shoulders. Neck. Chest (male). Abdomen. 

Quite often I include the feet, and sometimes the face and hands.

What oils do you use. Will I leave covered in oil?

You choose Aromatherapy or just a base oil. I clean the whole body before you leave.

What preparations do I need to make before my appointment?

Have a snack but avoid heavy meals. Take a warm bath. 

What conditions will massage help?

Back, neck and shoulder pain. Sciatica. Hip & leg pain. Muscle spasm. Tension. Stress. Poor circulation. Raised blood pressure. Headaches. Insomnia. Poor joint mobility.

What should I do during the massage?

Relax. Empty your mind. Drop off to sleep if you like. Do not assist me with anything.

Why does Californian Massage feel so wonderful?

Californian Massage causes the body to release endorphins.  Endorphins make you feel relaxed, happy and stress-free.
